Connections

The people I am meeting on my adventure are beautiful and are touching my heart. I stayed with a  family in Freiburg, Germany. I learned many things from this family, as each member is quite intelligent and spoke at least five languages. To me, this is quite impressive. The husband, Nikolaus is a medical doctor and has the gift of a calming spirit. He makes everyone at ease by his presence. His wife, Ria is a voice therapist. She is very creative and told me her greatest gift is her ability to create ideas! I believe this to be quite true. She told me that when there is a problem, the idea is to connect to the solution. It’s all about connection. So when time was running short for me to catch the next train, Ria and I connected to a solution...we ran like crazy. She helped me toss the luggage into the train, I hopped on, and then within seconds, the train began chugging down the tracks. The train connection was made, but more importantly, this family and I connected!
