Hansel and Gretel: The Introduction

As a child, I enjoyed reading the Grimm brothers fairytales, like Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel. These fairytales were inspired by The Black Forest in Germany, and I wanted to see this land of mystique, so I went into the forest. How foolish of me to think I could enter this forest without an adventure! So the following is my own fairytale… Oh… But it’s not a fairytale; it is real. By the way, I now understand a little more what it’s like to be Gretel!
